TED Conference & Live Exhibition @ L2: Black and Gold
All that Glitters isn't Gold...and all that is Black is not dull.
This series is a reflection of 2016, not just from the perspective of the artist as a painter, but from the perspective of the artist as a member of society. With the turmoil of the US presidential campaign to terrorist attacks, humanity is finding it's comfort in black, and turning away from the Gold.
Hence, the value of what we perceive in our own lives, is not different than the value that is give to art. This instillation is commentary on the fragile equilibrium within ourselves, and beyond ourselves, and through the generous sponsorship of the Deccan Gallery, you can see the pieces for yourself, because they are broadcasted later this month to the international TED Community.
